DAZ announced today that DAZ Studio will now be able to do dynamic clothing, where you can get the fabric to drape over the figure.  Not sure if the dynamic item can then be correctly imported into Bryce.  Does anyone know?  Anyway, the dynamic cloth feature sounds pretty cool!

I just tried it.  It came into Bryce with no problem.  Pretty neat!

Bryster, I did download the newest version of DS before I tried to use the dynamic cloth feature.  The latest version seems to play nicely with Bryce, at least on my machine.

You're welcome.  Someone in the DS forum says that the dynamic clothing function will work in the latest free version of DS even without the Control Plugin, which is free for 30 days but eventually will have to pay for.  I hope that is correct.  I guess the Control Plugin just gives you more options to work with.

Just a point to remember though, according to that page this does NOT work with Poser dynamic clothing.

  • DAZ Studio 2.3.3.146 or later
  • WIN OS ONLY - Sorry, no MAC Support is Currently Available from OptiTex
     
  • Special DAZ Studio Dynamic Clothing is Required - Does NOT work with Poser Dynamic Clothing
