Subject: lowest polygon figure

I have been taking poser modles into 3d studio as obj's so that I can save them out as SWF's for use on the net. The trouble is they are so complex the final flash file is huge and it takes hours to cut out all the extra lines to make it usable. Does anyone know what the simplest figure is for poser and where can i get it? Or is there a way of reducing the size of my figure in Max?

Try one of the Poser 2 figures supplied in Poser 4. They are much much less detailed but are still ok for most purposes. I don't know what a SWF is but I hope this helps. You might also want to remove unneeded morphs

Bearing in mind the scale and definition required you may want to consider a low polygon approach. a lot can be done with 1500 poly's [![philc_agatha_white_on_black.jpg](http://www.philc.net/images/logos/philc_agatha_white_on_black.jpg)](http://www.philc.net)

Use what you have! Make your own models. Especially if you have PPP the boning and grouping is simple. If no PPP make your model to the same size and use the phi file of an existing P4 model. Check out Vecta3D if you want to reduce the size of your flash animations. The standalone is about $60. I just bought it and it works well.
