A series of images of the Viper Mark II model viewed from different angles. At top the modeling format render and its clay preview counterpart rendered in 3DSM using the Mental Ray engine. Followed by model test renders in Bryce. I even put a little pilot in the cockpit together with helmet, goggles and air mask. Since his feet weren’t going to be seen, I left him barefooted to ride the sky with his toes hanging out. ;D

Oh yeah, I almost forgot...I did the instrumentation panel too. Looking over the pilot's left shoulder.

Yup oh yup...bee-autiful model mate.. ...

Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound
The Sun comes up again

it will make a welcome change from all those fighter scenes with unmanned cockpits...;)

honestly, on the few occasions i've done a cockpit, I didn't even bother modeling the legs...;)

great modeling.

What’s the matter with the helmet Bryster? Oh...lol…you mean you don’t like that decoration? Well they were a fast throw together since I was working on the challenge entry at the time and really wasn’t too concerned about it. But here’s a few other designs I recently put together.
