ok I have gone through daz forum found a thread about it but no fix. so I come here to see if anyone has a fix. when I load v4.2(no morphs) all goes well and for the most part she isnt a problem. but every once in a while I want to use a eyebrow transmap instead of painted. BUT I have to shift it all to get them painted on ANYWAY because her eyebrows blow clean off her head. in the thread I found at daz it said that if you make them visible before you do any morphs it may deal with the issue..no it doesnt. infact when I loaded her, her brows are against her head and invisible. the moment I click to make them visible..WAM they fly off her head.O.O before I have gone to go to the z traslation but cant. because you cant move them. I go to the hierarchy editer and try to unhide the parameter dials and no go. oher then just forever making the brows painted onto the texture is there a way to fix this? (I did fresh install, all the lovely stuff too)

Yes, use V3 instead.

I think that means that you didn't run the bat thing correctly upon installation but I am not sure. I know there is mention of it in the past but the search in both places .. has issues.

I ran the bat again and again. she does it all the time. Though, I think I fixed it in a way.
I went and used the grouping tool to spawn a prop of it then moved it back to her head and parented it.
it has no morphs  but it does allow me to uses a transmap for the brows

My V4.2 looks fine when I load her.  I do recall having your problem at one time.

Dimension3D's UnHide Dials Python script will allow you to show the scaling and translation dials so you can put the eyebrow where it belongs.

Have you updated your V4 to the latest version? I remember this being a problem when she was first released, but haven't heard about it since the updates. Maybe you could try redownloding her files from DAZ and reinstalling? :-)

file_430127.TXT

Above is a pz2 (pose) file that will make the eyeBrow actor visible ('on') and reveal the rotate translate and scale dials.

Save the file to a Pose folder as "V4 BrowReveal.pz2". That is to say loose the ".TXT" part of the file extension.

Should also work for other figures that have an actor named "eyeBrow".

I feel daft....I created the folder, put the txt file in...renamed it to pz2 but it keeps showing as a text file and not doing anything. how do I change it. I thought renaming it would do that but it doesnt seem to do it.

For the benefit of others that may have problems changing file extensions, if you use Windows, in Windows Explorer, in the Tools menu, Folder Options, select the View tab and disable "Hide file extensions for known file types".

curious, I'm having a problem; its kinda the same but a little different.
at times, and not all the time when I change a pose on V4 her eyebrow comes off her head and stays in one place.
happens to the inside mouth parts too.
so if I bend V4 forward or what have you her eyebrows and mouth stay where my initial pose started.
does anyone know what actually causes this?
and will any of the preceding links in this post help fix this issue as well?
Thanks

@ ninhalo5,

I have heard of this problem, but not experienced it myself. Sometimes problems with the jaws showing through the head in preview mode can be fixed by changing from Open GL to Screed preview, but this may be a different issue to the one you are experiencing.

I think the jaws thing can also happen if you using 'Point at' on the eyes.

interesting, her eyes are pointed at the main camera when this happened last. I wonder why it does that.

seems like none of the internal head obj's are even connected. it doesn't make since to me.

this must be an issue with poser, I dont believe this has ever happened in D|S  and I set my eyes to point often.
