Thanks all! :) Puter's not sick, Diana (and thank goodness for that!) I'm in the process of switching to a newer machine (typing on it now even!) which is positively turbo-charged and ready to take care of my needs for the next 5-10 years -- I hope! :D

Yeppers. Tell yourself what you want, Varian, but that thing was obsolete even before you walked out the door with it. ;) Mike who bought "The lateset, greatest" less than 2 years ago ;/

LOL, well yeah, it may be obsolete sooner than I hope. But it's super-speedy, lots of memory, gabazillions of drive space (otherwise known as 60 gig), and compared to what I've just come off from (for the last 4.5 years), I'm just in heaven! :D
