I'd saved out an atmo for tuture use and then opened a new scene using that newly saved atmo.

Screenshot says it all.  The terrain and AO text, 2 suns??? Cameras everywhere ???

I couldn't get rid of the terrain and text as they weren't there according to the object list so I closed Vue.  When I reopened it and again loaded a new scene with that atmo - all was well and back to normal.

Anyone else ever had anything like that ???

I haven't reported it either because it seemed so silly.  Vue didn't crash or throw up any errors.

But if it's happened in other cases then it's probably an unimportant bug

at one thime the flu was an unimportant bug...I'd send e-on a bug report all the same.. ...

Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound
The Sun comes up again

Well, I suppose it won't hurt to report it.  I still have the screenshot.
I'll see if I can make it happen again beforehand

I have seen this on rare occasions, but I'm not sure what caused it.  If you can't replicate it reliably then there is no point in reporting a bug if it can't be reproduced.

OOPS - too late.  Went away and opened a ticket.

My guess is that this is an OpenGL issue. Lack of refreshing so that old parts still hang in the buffers and are displayed. One indication for that is that the terrain does not appear in the world browser list.

How does this scene render? The scene preview looks correct, another indication that it is just a display issue. In my eyes worth to report btw.

One day your ship comes in - but you're at the airport.

I did hit the render button before closing and it was blank.

But the terrain and AO text weren't physically in the previous scene - would have been from the little preview rendered when I saved the atmo.

It was just so bizarre I wondered if anyone else had seen it happen or if it was just me 😄

I'd say it was a smart move to start a ticket on this...it's something that's happening in a few versions it seems so is in the code somewhere I figger.. ...
