Other features that already exist in Geocontrol 2
Fantasy pictures,
free 3d models, 3d tutorials
and
seamless textures on Virtual Lands.
Ditch the terrain editor completely, buy out the person that wrote GeoControl 2, get him to make the terrain editor.
Job done :)
Yeah its kinda far fetched but that would be the best method lol

Since E-On are working so much on stuff, like the terrian painting feature, what items would you think could improve the terrain editor, whihc many folk think is lagging behind Vue's other capabilities?
Some suggestions from moi :)
As said before, allowing the clipping brackets to act as a "mask", Bryce has had this for about a decade, and is an amazing ability, as it lets you work certain effects only on certian heights. For example, by clipping out the bottom heights, you can work on river valley features, then raise the clipping higher so you can work on steep slopes coming down to the valley, etc.
I'd like to be able to use a vector drawing systems to make rivers. Imagine this idea:
If you could draw a vector line, with nodes you can adjust, as a river or as a road even, that you can adjust the width as it travels (for rivers), it will then lower the terrain under it equal to a height you set, for example. That would let you dig out very precise river and stream valleys. SInce it's a vector system, you coudl alter the line by moving the nodes at any point there after and it would re-apply the lowering function whihc is tied only to the line (it's not permanent, the effect is only applied by the vector line).
Overhangs, cliff features and caves are an absolute must. Probably require the terrian to use normal maps though?
