Here's the latest attempt at the Buffster. I'm happier with the lighting, but stuff is still off a bit. The top photos show my first posted attempt. The bottom photos show where I am now. I think I need to find the original photo I took the skin texture from for a truly accurate comparison, but what do you guyz think about this?

I think the face needs to be a bit wider...... Just a thought.... Looks Fantastic so far!!!!! TMG

TygerCub is really working hard on this, and I really like the progress that's being made. It's soooooo close. The rest of you folks are better at overlaying/comparing than I am, and I already made the "it's the feeling it elicits, not the exact match" comment, so now I'm a hypocrite :P, but here's my feeble attempt at what I think could help TygerCub. Ignoring the texture/color differences, I rescaled the poser image x103% to get the hair all the same size, then overlaid the new poser image over the SMG actual photo. The best overlay I could get to come out in an image is using "color" difference in PSP. I can see (and hope y'all can) that the chin is great, as is the mouth. The eyes should be a little lower, especially her right eye (is her head tilted in this photo or is her head asymmetrical?) her head (space between ears ;) should be a little wider, but the "face" is the right size, with changes as noted above. You can't see in my awful image, but her nose is a little tiny bit higher on her face in the poser image. Her mouth is just right, but your version has a little smile in the corners of her mouth, the photo doesn't. Great job TygerCub!! Can I have a copy when you're through? I like her like this, just as a cutie. GreyMare

Thanks for the overlay! This helps tremendously and being slow, I wouldn't have thought to do it this way. Yep, her head is tilted about 3 degrees to the left in the photo and now I can see just how much to move down with the eyes. This will also help with the length of the nose, which was bugging me. Back to the morph machine....

I'm done for now. Finished. Completed. Caputz, even! Here's my Buffy in as close an imitation to the photo as I could get. The face is shown in 2 different views so you can see how much of a difference the camera makes! Although most of my renders are done with a "main camera" (shown on the left), the flat "front view" (shown on the right) actually comes closer to the photo in the middle. Of course, all hair is created via photo overlay... I'm not that good yet to make hair. Phew! Now to start on Willow and Xander and...

Eyes slightly closer together and lighter, I think; bottom lip narrower. But very close. Got any profile comparisons?
