Subject: 3D World and Girl 4
It's also on the coverdisk of a new magazine from the same publishers, 3D Artist. That's issue 3, current in the UK.
Checking www.3dworldmag.com I don't see a mention of The Girl for the current UK issue, #118
Confusing two magazines?

Nope, no confusion, saw it in Smiths yesterday, absolutely was 3D World, can't say what issue number it was and I didn't buy it 'cos I didn't want Girl 4, and yes I did also see the other mag with the girl 4 on in the same shop.
This was 100% 3D world magazine, no question!!

i have 114-118 right here on my desk and there is no Girl 4 on any of them
There is M4 and Hiro 4 bodysuit and textures on 116. That's about the only thing I can find with a 4 on it.

What can I say, I know what I saw, I have bought 3D world many times so I know what it looks like.
The disc was in the back of the magazine where it always is, inside by maybe 2 pages or so as usual with a description of what was on it!
I may go back tomorrow to see what I know I saw and obtain the issue number, it wouldn't be the first time we have had a new issue first up here, it has happened before to chorus of doubts!!
I won't be bothering with a heads up again though, for anything!

no prob with a heads up...its appreciated...but I , for one, would like to have G4..but I can't find it on my CDs...
If its on 119 and its released...I'm all for that...thanks

Wasn't doubting you so much as availability to the world outside of the EU.
Correct me on this, but I though they might be offering Hexagon 2.whatever on the 3d World coming up? We're anywhere from 1-2 months behind here, so you never know.

118 has hex 2.2. there is an upgrade to 2.5 for around $40USD, probably less if you're a PC member.
BTW 117 has Realsoft 3D 5 for PC and 6 for MAC OSX
118 for subscribers also has another two sided DVD with Carrara 6Pro, Blender 2.48, Truespace 7.6, Hex 2, and 30 tutorials

Ok, been back to the shop this morning and I offer my apologies, it was in fact a magazine called 3D Artist, looked very similar to 3D World, so sorry for misleading everyone.
However, The Girl 4 base is available with that magazine for the cover price which is a lot less than $30 at DAZ.

The new DAZ Studio book also has Carrara 6Pro and Hex 2.5.
