Subject: Poser 7 pz2 file question

 Out of curiousity ( because there was no readme supplied with a free pose set I downloaded ), I opened up one of the PZ2 files in question, and saw this:

targetFigure blMilWom_v4b



refFigure JamesG2

What do these lines tell me ?  
That the pose sets are meant for V4, yes ?  
But then why is JamesG2 being referred to as well ?

The 'refFigure' stuff is for the Universal Pose system.  JamesG2 is the
standard reference, and each 'targetFigure' has a data file in the
runtimeFiguresRepose folder.

You'll notice that the PZ2 has a whole set of 'refactor' channels
down near the bottom.  These are the settings for James that would
result from your settings of the target figure.  Poser calculated these
automatically when you saved the pose.

Poser can then use these 'ref' settings when you apply this pose to some *
other* figure besides the target.
