Ah good, fixed the bump mapping, think that's what was causing part of the problem with one scene I had :)
Only tired loading dynamic hair once, in past year, with the Lycanthropos, and wlel, crashed Vue, lol. But it's completely covered in hair!

Oh I hope this is true.  Bumps have been really wonked in Vue Inf 6 through 7.4.  I hope 7.5 has it right now.

ADDED:  No updates found.*

Aaargh. This is one of the bugs I submitted recently. *I even sent a scene to show the problem. So now it is corrected in 7.5, but I am still with 7.4, so I will not see it for a while. *

I had to jump ship from 7.4 because no telling when it will hit rocks.  Maybe they'll update it to 7.4999 though.  But I do know they will at least work some on 7.5 for six more months until they go into version 8 testing.

Is there an update for 7.5 xStream? If I go on the web, it says no updates avaialable. If I go into my account and click on updates, it goes to the same screen. My version of xStream 7.5 is registered.

Thanks

What's there is what Eon are calling an "Expedited Engineering Fixes" update.

The blurb on the update suggests that if you've got maintenance you should be seeing it, otherwise you won't. It also implies that (some of) the fixes are Beta quality as they haven't irony alert "undergone the full scope of e-on software update validation".

I appreciate the clarification.

Thanks

Ok.  I reported a bug in Vue 7.5 Infinite to E-on and they emailed me a link to the lastest Beta update to install.

What bug did you report?

Crash on exit.  The update didn't fix the problem though.  So I reported that also.

I narrowed it down to redrawing in the video settings.  So I turned it off.  So far, no annoying bug reports to answer to every time I close the program.

I had sometime ago the same problem with 7.4 but I fixed the crash on exit with new Video drivers. And I also had some wrong video settings in my NVidea setup (maybe from a computer game) I reset to default and now the problems gone. I am very happy with the new build no crashes so far.

My ATI driver works with all my games and all my 3D modelers.  The driver has been using the default settings since I installed it 6 months ago.  I never touch its settings, so I let the 3D programs do all the configuring.  I'm not about to mess with it just for one beta program. :)
