I know this is gonna sound wierd, but I am looking for a leg and foot, and not the whole leg but from the knee down. I am tring to put to gether  version the Luggage from the Discworld series. I have found a chest i like but Now i need legs. any ideas, or is there  a way to cut the leg off another fig and make it an independant fig?

Use the hierarchy editor to hide the parts you don't want, leaving just the shin and foot area then save it as a Figure for future use!

Won't the hidden fig still add geomtrt to the sceen?

You could export the body parts as objects and then re-import them in.  Unfortunately, you would need to remodel them to add the missing texture.  Or try Renderotica for the purchase of dismembered body parts.

*Won't the hidden fig still add geomtrt to the sceen?

*Why would that be a problem if it did?

You wouldn't see it and it wouldn't show in the render.
I guess it could be an issue  if memory is a problem, I wouldn't know of any other way except modelling.
Maybe someone else will have a better idea, it was just a thought.
I know it works, I've used it myself before!
