Hi folks,

It's been a long time, but I thought I'd pop in and say hi again.
I'm hoping to find a Spider-Man character/texture/costume for Poser, as high definition as possible. I did manage to find The Amazing Spider-Man Marvel Comics character, but I'm focusing more on the film version. Black or red doesn't really matter, as colouring can be done at my end if need be.
Does anyone know of a good one anywhere please?

Many thanks!

Glen.

Animotions.com is the place to look.  Free registration.  It should have what you are looking for.

You can also check Heromorph!, Bringing heroes to life

Another free registration site.

Thankyou guys! Heromorph doesn't want to load atm, and it's a shame that the guy on animotions had to cancel his downloads. I'll email him tho.

Many thanks for the links tho, take care!

I played around with some spiderman textures and made them better, but without the uv mask I was unable to actually use them because he pulled the mask.

unfinished spiderman suit and the mask is finished.

still gotta do the gloves.

suit

these are reduced in size because I can not post full size versions of them the forum wont allow huge files.

I converted a black suit someone did into the colored suit.

But after the files were pulled I abandoned the project and never finished it.

make a displacement map for the web on hes suit. that way it will look more 3d and more realistic.

Hi folks!

Sorry, bin aaaages in replying. I've been ill, away and suffering 1/4 dial up internet speeds of late, so I'm sorry!

Those textures do look cool, well done! I'm still no closer to finding what I need. I want to try and make my own suit, starting with the shirt. I'm not talking a screen printed t-shirt jobbie here, I'm talking the full on lycra suit, lined, screen printed "fishnet" design and molded/laser cut rubber webs... I've checked the sites for folks who make their own suits, but most people there want paying for everything. I basically need an accurate black suited figure to refer to... The original of the above, in black is quite good, except for the fact that the spider is wrong. The black suit spider has legs bent to the top, looking more menacing and fierce.

The main issue I'm having with the design is that of the screen printed net that goes underneath the webs, I'm in need of an accurate map of that layer in order to make screens for the panels of the suit. I already have the basic web panels, but that net is intricate!

Many thanks all!
