Subject: Hours to pay by credit card...Really?

NolosQuinn ( ) posted Wed, 01 July 2009 at 6:37 PM · edited Sat, 18 January 2025 at 8:26 PM

Does it really take all day to process a credit card payment? I ordered this morning and tracking the order it still says verifying payment. I called and was told payment takes a couple of hours to be processed through their system. I actually laughed at her when she told me this. But its been all day now. Are they rendering the software?

I'm losing confidence as this goes on. I don't wanna cancel and re-order because of course, I'll be double billed. Then it may take til the next millennium to get a refund.

Just checked, still validating. Did anyone else have a long wait before they could download the software? Aren't you suppose to make it easy to get the customer's money?

Nolos.

There's not many people who actually "work" there.  If you know what I mean.

I agree, the waiting is joke as is the New Maintence Plan Rip Off Scam.

Be patient, they do all credit cards manually because of the complexity in versioning and licensing. If you don't hear by tomorrow, contact them again. Cancelling and re-ordering will probably only confuse things.

They charged my credit card after they shipped me the 7.5 box.  Just be patient.

Got it. Downloaded. It took almost 24 hours for them to tell me I put in the wrong security code.

What a world,

Okay, I got it installed, activated and working. I'm now going to try to buy stuff from Cornucopia.

Pray for me.
