Subject: Can't get SkinVue7.4 to run on Vue 7.5

All was fine with SkinVue on Vue7.2  Inf and SkinVue7.2 or 3
When I upgraded to Vue Infinate 7.5 it created a whole now directory for me. At the same time I upgraded to SkinVue7.4. When I run the Python Script SkinVue7pro.py nothing happens. I tried copying the 7.4 update to my Vue7.4 directory. The SkinVue7.4 script (SkinVue7Pro.py) still did not run. The old python script would still run but gave version 7.0 in help.
Of note I did install the WxPython
I am 64bitVista

Something oidds going on as it completely SNAFUed by 7.4 (tried a roll back and it has somehow deleted my Vue 7 exe file....wonderful :p)

And in 7.5 figures sort of explode for a second
in both cases I get a Nvidia driver error and serious crash of Vue

NVLDDMKM driver error, iirc

ah well, I'll make models etc till they fix it :D

I have pretty much the same setup as you do and SkinVue 7.4 is running fine in my Vue 7.5 Infinite.  However, I have to confess - I had to ask Dave for help.  You need to copy your entire SkinVue7 directories into your C:Program Filese-on softwareVue 7.5 Infinite directory.  You also need to look for your wx and wxPython folders from your "old" Vue directory and place them in your VuePython/PythonLib folder where you have Vue 7.5.

hm thank you very kindly for that! I'll give it a shot :)
was very odd how it blew up the drivers, lol, never seen anything like it. SkinVue is awesome so it was disheartening to have it all go haywire.

I did all you mentioned. SkinVue7.0 will launch, but not 7.4.
The SkinVue7Pro.py won't run still.

My problem was Vista User account controls.
