EhsanA has several images where Groboto constructs are recognizable in Vue renders. He also mentions it explicitely in his image notes whenever he uses it. He also uses Xenodream, which is somewhat similar to Groboto in a sense that it can also semi-automatically build abstract 3D shapes (although the technologies and mathematic behind are different - Xenodream builds 3D fractals).
I'd recommend that you browse through his gallery, lots of interesting stuff there.
Quote - Having just received a promotional email for 'Groboto', I was wondering if any one here had tried it, and whether its creations can, in reality, be used in Vue (it purports to export 3D obj. polys). It looks as though it could be a good, inexpensive means of creating a variety of stunning scenes in Vue - especially the sci-fi genre........
I have Groboto and it's great fun to use. You have to be careful with exporting as it creates very high poly counts even at low resolution, but it is quick to create organic and structural forms.
By the way, if you are considering a purchase, don't buy from Smith Micro - buy it direct from www.groboto.com as you will receive at least 25% discount. I downloaded a trial version, and the email that came with that gave a 50% discount but that may have been a time limited offer I don't know.
