Subject: 3ds max and vue 7

i have been looking online and found you cannot import VUE into max is this true?

This is untrue. Vue xStream has full integration in 3ds Max.

integration is not the same as import!

It still remains VUE objects rendered by the VUE renderer in max.

A workaround could be to export the complete scene or objects into 3ds and import that into max.

you can't always export Vue objects, many of them are locked against export and there's no way of exporting ecosystems

ok i only have VUE 7 that i downloaded to make an island i thought you mite be able to export out of vue and into 3ds max

When you select the ecosystem and convert the instances to objects you can export an entire scene.  Included the ecosystem. (I don't think you can do it with the pioneer version.. i think you need infinite. But it is possible:
