Subject: Photo-realistic texturing.

I was wondering if anybody had some links too photorealistic texture resources, preferably for free, but not a neccesity. also it does not have to be whole textures, it can be just a square of skin or something like that.. i can manage. :) thanks to anyone with the time to read this, even more so if you reply. :)

hmmm,dont know if i understand quiet right.the most realistic textures i know are "noa" and "asia" made by steffy available here in the store.

There are several websites with free photo textures: stone, water, leaves, fabric, etc.. A few of them are tileable. Look for 3dup.com, forrest.cz, even 3dcafe.com had some, I think. I remember some skins, especially lizard and snake skins, but not much in the way of fur. However, once you find the links, you can dig through some pretty good base materials, and tweak from there.
