I love it, thanks alot for doing the work and sharing your insights.
on another note, I was also impressed with your work flow in VUE, I noticed that you CAN actually see what you're doing, which i unfortunately can't.
Possible that my hardware does not support the program as much as I want.
So I'd be interested in what hardware you are using and what OS.
I have a Q 6600 Intel prosessor and a g-force 8600 graphic board with 512 mb and 4 GB Ram memory. Also my VUE runs on a win XP 64 pro.
I'm sorry to bother you with my problem, and I juge from seeing your work and reading about you that you must be very busy. So Thank you allot in advance for any information you my want to share on the mattter.
Regards,
Olav Schneider
I've got same CPU and video, just 8 gig ram and Vista 64 ultimate ;)
Vue is extremely good on it :)

@ silverblade,
so, are you saying, that you can actually see the objects you're working on in the viewports?
The only thing I can see in my work space is a wireframe at the best or just ome squares if the scene gets just a bit heavier.
I just don't know if I want to go to the expense of buying another operating system not knowing if it really improves on the issue.
But anyway I appreciate any information helpful to the subject,
Olav
I have the same processor but an inferior graphic card (8400 GS). I have 8GB RAM and Vista 64 Home Premium. The comparison XP64 versus Vista64 was vividely discussed in at least one thread, you can do a search and read about it, I remember there were some interesting points of view.
Are you sure you have your Vue display options correctly set up? Your symptoms are so strange that something seems wrong, it doesn't seem caused by the operating system. It would be interesting to see a screenshot of your Vue display options.
But I think we shouldn't discuss these things in this thread, it's off-topic. I suggest that you create a separate thread. :-)
@ rutra,
yes your right, this is ofcourse off topic, sorry everybody!
I'll start a new one right away.... (VUE7 Hardware)
