Subject: Sun Mage outfit not conforming

I'm not new to poser, but I've only dealt primarily with the Pose room, and have dabbled in the Material and Cloth rooms.

This thread applies specifically to the Sun Mage product at:
http://market.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?ViewProduct=66118

The only objects I have at my disposal are Props, and they do not conform to the Victoria 4.2 base character, I suppose because they are props.

I can't parent objects to specific body parts because then they don't respond as other clothing figures do; ie: if I parent the "Sleeves" to the left arm, the whole "Sleeves" prop will move with the left arm, rotating the right sleeve away from the right arm.

It also does not conform to the Victoria 4.2 base figure and I cannot apply body morphs to the prop.

It's supposedly this easy to use item, but perhaps it was meant to be used in an area I have not used yet.

Has anyone got this item working for them? And how do I get it to conform to the Victoria 4.2 character?

These are Dynamic clothing items, not conforming
They should parent themselves to appropriate part when you double-click or apply preset
You have to go into cloth room and set up simulation for item and then it drapes properly

Thanks for the reply I really appreciate it.

My problem is that they don't parent themselves to Victoria 4.2. When I pose a body part in the Pose room it does not move the cloth item with it.

Are you saying that Dynamic Clothing does not react to body part positioning in the pose room?

on personal basis, I use like this,

start with figure at zero pose in frame 1, apply all dynamic items
go to frame 30, put character in desired pose
go to cloth room, make simulation for dynamic item from frame 1-30
everything should look like you want in last frame, you will be able to see item change to fit as sim progresses

To answer your question, dynamic clothing does not react to body conforming or pose positioning.  They can only be applied in the Cloth Room.  Lowpoly has given you basic instructions and the Poser manual does cover this topic to some extent.  Below is a link to PhilC's Cloth Room Tutorial:

Works like a charm, I learned something new today.

Thanks a ton for your help both of you,

Cheers,
