Subject: Using shaders to make cloths look wet and transparent help

I got this greek type dress for V4 and its default is white and I want to make a scene where its raining and my subject is frolicing in the rain jumping in puddles all the fun stuff we do when we play in the rain until we get hit with a bolt of lighing. lol

Anyways back on topic.... so i have my dress on my figured and figured what can I do to make it look wet. Well I have some materials that I can use to change the materials of clothes and one of the options i have is for a white sheer material.

So I applied that gives me the see through look but looks more shiny and plastic looking as well. My question is what more can i do with shaders to make it look more realistic of clothes sticking to skin when it gets wet?

If anyone has some suggestions or seen a nice tutoiral somewhere please post back.

Thanks
