Subject: Animating Skeleton only...

I am using Poser 4 to create models and animations to import into a game for future release. What I want to know is how can I take the default model (or any one of the other models) and remove all of the renderings of skin, clothing, etc so that I am left with only a skelton, then go back later on and add the character model to it's skeleton. You see there are almost 50 animations you have to create for one model, if I have 7 characters then that is one heck of a lot of animations. However is I use the same skeleton over and over again my problem is solved. Advice is desperately sought!

dont know if you can take the skin off and leave just the skin...you can use the skeleton, but with poser (or any other relatively cheap program) it aint gonna happen

Attached Link: http://www.credo-interactive.com

"Life Forms" by Credo Interactive will let you do what you want to do. It's expensive, but you can define an action for a generic "skeleton" and then apply that action to Poser figures of your choice. Click on the link above...

You can save the animated pose to your Pose Library. When prompted select the multi frame box. You can then apply this to any new figure provided that the hierarchy and body part names match.

Ah yes I had not considered using the Library. I will do that. Thanks a million.
