I know this isn't important, but I'm just curious.

I've also been downloading since about eleven o'clock this morning and I think I'm slowly
losing my mind.  LOL.

Was there a reason for that though?

And is Alyson actually a G3?  Will she be termed that, G3 female, in some content perhaps?

As I remember Sydney was called G2 because she was supposed to be a second generation figure, I suspect that more down to pretty marketing talk than anything else.

I'm hoping the new figures will really take off and break some of the stranglehold the millenium figures have on the market.  I've nothing against them personally :) it's just nice to have some variety.

Sydney is a great figure in my opinion, exept for her breasts but theres nothing a morph cant fix :)

the P8 figures seem to be very similar to the P7 figures, with some improvements.
The morphs are very well grouped and numerous. The feet have toe controls now,
and IMHO they bend much better.
The P8 figures have a lot of muscle morphs, it's like V4 + morphs++ + MuscleMorphs pack.

P.S.: Didn't try it yet, but of the muscle morphs are automatically triggered by limb bending,
that would be great and help a lot to produce realistic images easily.
(They mentioned something like dependant parameters, I must try it later today) 

The Poser 6 woman was Jessi. She was upgraded to version 2 and so she was called G2 as all the followers like Sydney and Olivia had the same body. All clothes and bodymorphs were the same for the G2 figures.

Hey cool.  Thanks!  P7 was my first Poser and I work almost exclusively with Sydney.  I
totally agree too that hopefully Alyson will inspire more creators to design more content
specifically for her as well as the G2's.

Alright.  I finally finished downloading early this morning so I'm gonna' have my first
