Thanks,
Yes I was using "Bevel Center" but it all went wong !!
Start with a default Plane.
Subdivide x 5
Face view .Extrude Y by .5 of a Blender unit.
Top view. A to deselect all verts . B box select edge to be bevelled.
Select script. Bevel Center. Depth 0.2
Hit Bevel. Recursive. Exit.
And thats just what happens ......Blender not responding!!!
On the other hand if I choose not to hit Recursive it works but with all
the odd bits left over to clean up ?
Thanks

Quote - There is a "Bevel Center" python script that lets you select just the edges you want. If you go through the regular blender menu you have to bevel the whole thing.
Umm, what?
Just select the edges you want to bevel, hit [W] and [Bevel] away. I use it all the time... works like a charm. Although I kinda miss the "recursive" function of the "bevel center" script. Would be handy from time to time.

Hmm, perhaps that changed recently. It used to do the entire mesh, no matter what you had selected. I just always use Bevel Center, but sometimes it can be buggy, especially with a lot of recursion.

Hello
Can someone tell me if it is possible to choose where you want
a "Bevel " to be placed , or does it have to go all around ?
Blender 2.49
Thanks for any advice.
