Subject: Any one ever have this problem!

I was trying to photograph the golden gate. I THINK I was in portrait mode. But suddenly there was this weird artifact in the picture. It's not a shadow and I don't rmember it when I took the picture. I have two pictures like this but after that the camera seems to be fine. Bsteph

That is weird... Maybe a memory thing related to battery power??? Or maybe due to the difference in light values... Beats me.

i guest that is an angle reflexion in between yours cam and an added lens filter or uv skyligth protector.... Else if it is digital did you try to take a picture of the subject with brigth sun in the back before...look like digital remanance of and over exposed ccd to sun too... this whould be my two best guest!
