Shadows are off. I used the basic light set up. I had all eight characters loaded but ended up having to composite the pic in order to dress them and add hair.

Over all, I'm happy with P8. Very stable so far in Vista.

Oh so that's what the new characters look like.  Looks like my Aiko 4, V4.2, and M4, and H4 are going to have some new characters to beat up on.

I like Poser 8 too.  It's definitely a good buy.  How long did it take for you to render 8 characters?

Why make a bunch of new characters if there going to look the same...at least the old poser character look different..James,Kelvin,Koji,Olivia,Jessi and Miki ...These look like clones...lol...

Do there clothes fit alright?...That was always a problem with poser they make characters and clothes for them, but they don't fit properly.

I think it took less than a minute to actually render. The setting I used was between draft and final render.

The clothes seem to fit okay. Haven't done an animation yet to check for poke thru.

NolosQ - In the "Specialty" pose sets for both the Alyson and Ryan character you'll find an "Add Deformers" pose set that you can apply deformers to the clothing items, these are the same deformers used for the figures, and will help mimimize poke through. As well, there are some really informative Read Me files that will help the full body morphs propogae through the conformed clothing.
