Subject: I can't find Alyson's head texture.

I want to add a makeup layer.

I'm using Gimp.  I completely suck with it.

But here's the thing.

No problem finding the Smith Micro folder containing Poser 8.

But from there, I can't find the head texture in any of those folders.

A second very stupid question .... Maybe this time PhotoShop is required?

Or am I completely and hopelessly lost and there's a different way to do this?

Please?  Thank you.

OK, when I installed Poser 8, I chose to install the CONTENT onto my D Drive. So this location may not be exactly the same as yours ...

Anyway, I find the textures in D:/Poser 8 Content/ Runtime/Textures/Poser 8/Alyson, and then each character has a subfolder beneath that (Alisha, Alyson, AlysonCasual, Izumi, Maria, and Templates)

A nice thing about the new version's Materials room is that it is now easier to see the full path of texture nodes.  Just look in the Materials room ->Advanced view and select Alyson's head zone, you will see the whole path/filename.  It will depend on where you chose to install your default runtime.

edit: I lied.  In this case it does not show the full path.  Just a minute and I'll dig it out.
