Subject: Poser 8 download question

Hiya! I just bought Poser8, and have not bought anything from that store before. I CANNOT find a dl link anywhere, even where it tells me there should be one. The order is marked "authorized" is there some waiting period after your first order is placed like they do here? The search FAQ only really told me to click on the button. But there is no button LOL.

Yoy schould be able to download immediately.

If not, you can using the links from the e-mail they send you.

But there aren't any links in the email, OR on my order page. It says "download from the links below" yet there is nothing to click on.

The email does not have a serial number in it either, BTW,

Where did you make your purchase, from CP?
also, did you just not want to get the upgrade ($129.00)?

Try this.

Top of page.

Click on "Your Account".

"View My Order History".

Then click on the Order ID #.

It should be there.

Good luck.

My bf and I shared a computer forever so we just used his PoserPro. Now I have jumped into computer ownership and bought the new copy for myself. Mine's better than his, ha ha LOL. Well it would be if I could get it!

ZigZag, thanks, but I have done that. That is where the above screenshot is from.

Oops.  Sorry.  I'll try to think of something else.

I went and got a free item, and I can download IT. Just not what I paid for. Bothersome :-)

It looks like you ordered the physical version (on the DVD), which will be delivered by UPS, so there is no download. You have to wait for it to be delivered.

Oh! I thought Hybrid mean you could dl AND get the shipped version. Ok then. I paid for 2 day shipping. I can wait LOL.

vilters ( ) posted Fri, 07 August 2009 at 2:33 PM

Yeah, indeed, you ordered the boxed version, not the download version.

Hybrid means (I think) Mac and Windows versions.

You're not the only one confused by that. I wrote SM and asked what the hybrid was and got this answer:

"The "Hybrid DvD" is the physical product with an installation for both Mac and Windows.
When purchasing the Hybrid option you do not get a downlaod for the program.
If you need to purchase the Hybrid CD and are still having problems, our sales team can take your order over the phone.

How odd. Oh well. I can wait a few days. It'll give me time to organize my Runtime LOL.
