Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 09 3:46 am)
This probably explains why my light rack rig is acting so fruity, I was using that operator (like a ton of content creators would). That's, uh, really really inconvenient.
Great, Koopa! Even if the problem seems more like it's caused by the extension. Poser 8 won't see PZ2 but only pz2 as a valid extension when it comes to injections. I haven't tried if it would load textures ending in PZ2,but at least renaming the problematic injection files to lower case seems to have removed the problem.
And here I was looking at something completely different. >_< Oh well.. all my problem files DID have the DeltaAddDelta in them so it wasn't too far fetched.. was it?
Sorry for crying WOLF when I should have yelled FOX!

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

She CAN use it at least. Now that I found out what the problem REALLY was.
She has all her morphs in her PMD like all other newer Poser figures.

No. Unfortunately it wasn't.
Only partially.
The PZ2/pz2 thing worked with most of the problems, BUT.. DeltaAddDelta still won't work on the new Poser 8 figures. I tried making a morph for V4 and one for Alyson today. The V4 morph injected as expected once I'd changed the extension to lower case, but the one for Alyson still does nothing at all.
So the problem persists. It isn't as bad as I'd feared, but it's bad enough :(
So it may also still be what's affecting your lighting rig.

Hm.
And now it turned out that I have indeed been idiotic. I was CERTAIN this worked in previous versions but I just tried a similar morph for Simon, and tried to add that in Poser 7. And that didn't work either. So it's not a Poser 8 thing at all. It's the way my morphs are made and the injections are made. I guess you can't iunject anyting when there's no channels to inject it into. I remembered wrong and the people at Smith Micro shouldn't be blamed for my flaky memory. Sorry guys. Move on. Nothing to see :m_shy:

It seems like the command DeltaAddDelta does no longer work, at least as far as I can gather.
Daz style injections with Readscript ect. still works but this method, which at least my morphing program uses to make injections no longer functions.
I hope that can be fixed! A lot of custom made morphs no longer works in Poser 8 (not just mine!) because of this.
Oh and I've added this as "an incident" on SM's site - not sure if that's the same as the "ticket" people are talking about?
