heyas.... you know what, i ran into this the other day. and i figured out what the problem was! um.... but now i've gone and forgotten! d'oh! anyway OH! i remember! i tried to load a tiff that had channels (you know, alpha channels). apparently, poser doesnt like that in a tiff, so it refused to load, but it didnt spit out an error message, it just beeped at me. so perhaps it isnt a memory limit, but you're trying to load a picture format poser doesnt like? and maybe if you try to load something else afterwards, it will still go in? maybe? well, you can try.
