Transparency on the glass will allow the camera to see what is inside, but there must be something to see, and it must be lit. I would suggest a point light inside the house to do this.
(For realism, you would use Refraction not Transparency, but that may be overkill).
Alternatively, if you don't want to see detail inside the house, but just the effect of light at the windows, you could try either giving the glass an Ambient colour (requiring no light inside the house), or using Translucency (requiring a light inside the house, to shine on the inside of the glass).
If you want to be able to see the light streaming out of the window and lighting up particles in the air, you can use Volume (in the Atmosphere node)... possibly with much longer render times, depending on what other lighting you have in the scene.
A quick reply, but I hope this is some help!

Hello to all.
I m working with a little fairy house and wish to show that the interior of the house is illuminated from the inside,The house is really well detailed and even the window panes can found in the materials section.(glass)Ive tried altering the transparency propeties but doesnt permit light to pass,so perhaps this is a Refaction issue??
I have tried using a point light.infinite and defused IBL.
Any help on this would be appreciated.
