If you have a color_texture, you can substract the color of that texture with a color_math node and add a new color with another color_math node or color_ramp node. Please see this thread for more info: http://www.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/showthread.php?thread_id=2689018 You might also want to have a look at a couple of links in the Material room, Nodes and Shaders Sticky on changing hair colors: http://www.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/showthread.php?thread_id=2722867

Thanks! After some playing, I've been able to change a couple of hair sets, but I can always use more help. Thanks for the Links; I don't even understand Bryce's material settings, but as long as it's fairly simple...

More and more, I'm starting to run into a problem with hair colors; I want to change a hair color, so I go into the Material room. I've tried changing specular colors, ambient colors, everything on there, but when I render, nothing's happened. Other items, like clothes, skin, etc., seem to work fine; but for some reason, it's as if someone scrubs it off pre-render...;)
On the other hand (and only an example, I'm not picking), there are some hair models named after a couple of planets ('nuff said), that have some color textures available, but nothing happens there either. I have P5, and the description says they are P6 textures. I get the impression that P6 textures don't work in P5?
Just wondering; I don't want to permanently change the hair color (I suppose I could do it 'post-work' in the Gimp, but ...oooh...Postwork bad...;) Is there a node, or a setting, etc, that I'm missing?
