Did Poser 8 make the animation process better than say if Poser 6 was used?
www.youtube.com/user/ShawnDriscollCG
Oh yes, you can animate with layers since Poser7 a big improvement for animators. Dynamic cloth calculates much more stable as in Poser 6. But my main application is Poser (7) Pro. For me Poser 8 is only a placeholder for PoserPro 2010 on that I will update!

Sorry to butt in in a guys animation and conversation- I know you would prefer her to wear a tiny&tight dress, but for the purpose of showing off an animation a longer, flowing dress would be so much more impressive. Poser can achieve that beautifully in the cloth room).
(Just in case you didnt know - I'm not a guy:) )

Is that more your like?Mazak
Yes, much more to my liking:) Not only does the dress look nicer but the scene is so much more appealing, it has a moody feel.
Very nice. Now just teach her to walk and turn and it will be close to a masterpiece!

My latest weekend project
I did an animation this weekend and want share the result with you. The animation was done in Poser 8 with dynamic cloth. Then imported in Vue Infinite and render with global radiosity.
Most interesting part the dress was created in 3D-Coat, a very useful and creative tool! (www.3d-coat.com) Fugazi1968 did very helpful tutorials for this tool and the dress based on them almost. (You can find additional links in Poser forum.)
