Subject: Import collada problem

I'm trying to import a figure from Poser 8 into blender. When I import Collada 1.4 I keep getting an error "ImportError: DLL load failed: The specified module could not be found". Can anyone help on this?

Use this Collada Importer at teraapi.com/collada4blender/index.htm instead of the one that comes with Blender.

Thanks very much. Will do.

I tried your suggestion, but I get an error about 32bit. I'm using vista 64 bit

I don't know this for sure, but I suspect that may be the reason the importer didn't work in the first place.

It is better to do one thing well, than to do many things and excel at nothing.

Ah, 64Bit I missed that in your original post....

Only thing I can suggest then is to load 32Bit Blender and the required Python or wait until the GSOC Collada updates are released.

It's not a problem to have both 32 and 64 Bit versions of Blender on your machine.
