I Posted a video in the video tutorials here on renderosity for an idea of getting a figure to interact with other objects.For example putting a dent in a bed where a figure is sitting or making ripple on water around a figures torso.
The demo itself isn't that exciting, just going through the process, I just thought it was a really easy but exciting application of the PPro/P8 morph tool.
The degree of detail you can get seems to bepend on the mesh density though.
