Subject: Why are stock Poser people so easy to pose?

I never used the stock people in P6 or P7 but I was playing with Andy from P8 and noticed his feet. The interact with the ground. When he is pulled down from the hip his feet press against the ground plane and his knees bend. Delete him and load Vicky and pull her hip and she moves through the ground plane. If you replace Andy with Vicky she now interacts with the ground plane. I can't see where the settings are different. I feel quite foolish having missed something so workflow enhancing because I hated the stock figurers so much.

Your Vicky may have been saved with Inverse Kinematics for the legs unchecked.

No they were checked. Strangle enough, unckecking then re-checking fixed the issue.
