Has anybody else here been contacted by someone representing something called RageX Visual Arts Agency? While I was away I got an instant message, encouranging me to visit their website, I was under the impression they were willing to offer some sort of sponsorship. Has anybody else been approached in the same way, and does anybody know anything about this agency? Maybe this topic has already been covered while I was gone, if so, sorry, I don't have time to browse through the forum right now :-) (I type almost faster than I read hehe) Oh and just thought I'd tell ya - I've been encouraged to send some of my artwork to an art gallery/restaurant in a Norwegian town called Arendal. I think I will. It's a cool place. Maybe they'll put something on a wall in a dark corner sometime :-) ~M

Hi Marsh... welcome back :) I did a search of about 20 major engines and this agency name came up blank. Guess I would be careful. The Gallery/restaurant sounds cool. We had one of those where I used to live, and you can make some bucks selling prints at these. Good Luck if you decide to try it.

I think I might go ahead and try the restaurant/gallery thing but I am also very suspicious of this agency. Don't like giving up my rights to my own work ya know. :-)

Anyone that attempts to get you to sign away your rights to your own work is definitely not someone you want to be involved with!!!

That's what I figured. But it's nice to be noticed..even by the wrong people, if you know what I mean.
