i just went into renderosity chat & there was only me & 1 other user in there ? how come ?
i thought it'd of been full of peeps chattin' about art n stuff (what with there being over 4000

Maybe because sometimes there are a mix of people using different software, and they really don't have much in common to discuss.  For instance, most of the time it is Poser people or others doing that type of images.  They usually don't find my Fractal stuff interesting.  Then again there are the Photography people, and possibly they aren't interested in the 3D stuff, etc.  I'm just taking a guess here. lol q-:

I don't use it because:

• juvenile behavior
• no celebs
• nobody laffs at me jokes :crying:
• they might ask me a tech or personal question :lol:

lol, you don't have to answer the personal or tech questions.
If I were there I'd laugh at your jokes.
Juvenile behavior is a must for those of us that have children, grand children and great grand children. heh heh heh q-:

 I am awake when most others here are asleep - due to geographic reasons.  Chat's been ... quiet for me.

I love chatting on line... too much. I used to be close to addicted to it, continually running conversations in four or five very active chat rooms at the same time, along with six or seven IM conversations. I made myself quit when the wrist pain started to set in.

For me, forum conversation and e-mail is much safer.

I used to host in the MSN comichat rooms.  Did it for a couple years and met quite a few whacko's.  I also met a lot of very nice people and a couple I still keep in touch with, but that was not art talk. lol q-:

I think it would work better if there were rooms dedicated to specific topics, whether it be 3d modelling, or Poser work, or current news or whatever, or have guest interviews etc. I've suggested it before...maybe one day...:unsure:

Ditto on the room topics. There's no sense going into one room which might be filled with Poser users if you're only interested in Photoshop for instance. And like MissN, I'm fed up with juvenile chatter rooms.

No,  you don't get that chatty.  There are certain rules to internet chatting...common sense. lol

I think I'm deficient in the "common sense" chromosome... perhaps there's some sort of genetic therapy for me.

We are going to get some things going in there in terms of guest speakers, maybe some different rooms, etc.  Hang in there and we will blast it all over the place when we get this all worked up!!
