Looks good to me, as long as you get it off my planet when the challenge is over.

Is it possible to pull my entry and put in another one? This one (I have in now) sucks...

Would snow be considered as water or ice for that matter?

Ah! But you missed one ingredient. Snow flakes are not just ice crystals.

Actually Dhama you are almost right.
For a snow flake to form you need a microscopic piece of material...a particle of dust for example.
In an experimant I saw in tv a glass vial of pure water was supercooled to well below zero, but ice did not form until an small speck of some dust was added. Then the water turned to ice almost instantaniously.

A quick shock, like a hard tap from a pencil, to the glass will also cause the water to crystalize when it is below zero degrees. I've even done it with one of my son's teething rings also. The water is very pure and is not always frozen when it comes out of the freezer. When I tap it against the counter it starts to crystalize away from the impact site.
Anyway, there were too many really good images to choose from this time. Made it real hard to vote.
Was just wondering what's happening with the vote/results?

**Orbital has laid down the gauntlett for the next challenge.
**Here is the next theme for September Bryce Challenge : Down By The River
"Ok I'd like to suggest the next Bryce challenge be of an aquatic nature. Babbling brooks, the mighty Amazon cutting swathes through the rainforest, waterfalls, or an old shopping trolley dumped in a canal. Imports allowed for this one, and postwork also if you wish. But try to squeeze as much out of Bryce as you can, it's the only way to learn.
Ok get to it peeps!"
The rules
Any style or genre but ibl renders are welcome.
Anything goes as far as import models, mesh etc.
Postwork if you wish.
**Post your comments and WIPS here. Wips are not permitted in any other thread. Please make sure you read the rules: Main Rules Link
Good luck to everyone and many thanks to Orbital for this theme.**
