Subject: Firefly I/O bottleneck?

I'm running P7 on an Intel Core 2 Quad, 32 bit architecture. I have 3.5 GB of memory. On a larger scene, firefly rarely takes up more than 10% of my total processor set. Anyone know what I can do to improve this? Is my file system misconfigured somehow?

Are you using the maximum 4 threads for rendering?

on my I7 core it does 100% With p8 and 13% with p7.  on my old 32 bit dual core it would do 100% with p7.  It renders pretty fast still but of course p8 is much better even with all the bugs.
