THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: OT - Where's Rosie?

Erosiaart has been MIA for a while now. The skinny on this is that we have her!
Yup! She's on Mars!........well, nearly. Mrs Bryster & I are holding her hostage....in Wales!
Not sure what the ransom will be, but we're working on it.

bobbystahr ( ) posted Fri, 04 September 2009 at 7:45 PM

 Really...give her my best.. ...

Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound
The Sun comes up again

Bobby, I have'ta tell ya, Rosie is one of the nicest people you could ever want to meet. She brought a huge ray of sunshine to our home when the weather was absolutely awful. She met all our family and delighted them each and every one. You couldn't wish for a nicer house-guest.

She's welcome to visit Mars....er...Wales any time she wishes.

Just Last night, I was telling my son about you and Rosie being long distance friends that I would love to meet some day.  I am very jealous.  I bet you were both delightful.

I guess I have a better chance of meeting pakled since we both live in NC.

Hey, pakled, I'll be spending three weeks in Ocracoke.  You want to go fishing?

My daughter is living in Cary, NC. I hope to visit her someday. Maybe I'll get to do a Bryce get together down south.
Glad to hear Rosie is alright. And speaking from experience, she couldn't have had two nicer hosts in Wales (err Mars).

Aw! Why thankyou, Ang!  I'll let Mrs Bryster know you said that.

Well Bryster, you should most whole heartily convey the sentiments to the Misses.  Ang often tells me of your hospitality and how well welcomed and received she was when she visited with you and your family. And even if I personally haven’t met you, I have been reassured many times over that you are quite the personable character and well worth knowing just for the sake of meeting real down to earth people. Even if you’re from Mars.

erosiaart ( ) posted Fri, 11 September 2009 at 7:20 AM

Quest!!! I'm worried about thebryster..he thinks i'm nuts coz I kept saying 'sheep'. He refuses to let me stay in Mars, and he still wants me to drop in next year and that too, for a longer time!  :-p :-p

I went there..not expecting anything..and I felt I stepped into a dream I didn't want to get up from. He and his family are some of the few people left around who' are genuine, warm and so good. You know the sort I mean..the ones who make life really worthwhile, where you look at them walking through a field and you smile happily coz life is going as good as it should.

I am blessed, to know the people I know.

Cheers everyone.

Will be back home next week.. give me a week or two to recover.. (a holiday from a holiday)..been away too long..and I'll serioulsy start.

um..er.. thebryster.. woah.. i'm blushing red here at what you wrote about me. I thought I was a pixie of an imp! You made me a fairy! Hugs to you and Maggie..

PPS.. I'm coming in tomorrow on the 5 am bus...picking me up???  :-p :-p :- p..

TheBryster ( ) posted Fri, 11 September 2009 at 8:33 AM

Well I showed this thread to Mrs Bryster and she's overwhelmed by the nice things you guys have said about us. Thank you.

Rosie? 5am bus?  You have to be kidding. Get a taxi.  Oh and Evans-the-farmer sez can he have his lambs back?

Must be the "jet-lag". Sounds like Rosie is suffering from sleep deprivation, not sheep deprivation.
