Wow first time making this...feels odd. Anyways, I looked through the forms and I haven't found really a post about help with making water drips, sort of like when rain falls from a leaf and lands on your skin, I been going it rather the cheap way, thin white lines heavily blurred and faded..

-but I wanted to know if there is another way? Any help would be vital :)

Thanks in Advance~

EDIT: Yeaaaah should probably help if I had an example of my work. :) I also go by Coach on another site so I apologize for the signature at the bottom of image.

I’m not sure what you’re asking LadySlayer you did an excellent representation of rain in that pic. Am I understanding that the rain in that image was hand drawn lines then blurred and faded? If that is the case there are many other ways. I used an over laying black layer and then using Filters> Noise>Add Noise: set to about 10% for initial droplet points, Gaussian and Monochromatic and hit OK. Then use Ctlr + L and bring the right side white marker to the end of the histogram graph and then slide the black marker to about 60 and hit OK. Then apply Filters>Stylize>Wind: set to blast, and “from the righ”. Then use free transform: Ctrl + T and rescale larger (about 190%) then rotate about 40-45 degrees and applied a Filters>Blur>Guassian Blur: set at 2.2 and then set opacity for the layer to about 50% and the fill to about 25%, this would give you a more random look.  If you are asking about actual droplets then let me suggest a few tuts.

 Thank you Quest! You just made my day!
Yes I should of tried to better explain myself, but the sites you gave me is perfect! not to mention what your picture is showing me. :) I think I got a better understanding of what to do. One way to find out though hehehe. :) Thank you again Quest!

Here's a video tutorial on rain drops. It's a bit more involved, but the results are worth it.
