Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Dec 02 5:01 am)
Both the Poser Tool Box and the Poser Pocket Knife have a morph delete tool which will do what you want. The latter includes some extra refinements in how the morphs to be deleted are selected.
The Poser Toolbox is great!
but the free MorphManager by MrX will do it as well. Last time I looked it was still here in Free Stuff.

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.
Get the free "Morph Manager 4" (MM4). There is a trick that allows you to delete all the morphs in one go. First load a pz2, any pz2, into MM4. This will force MM4 to display a "More Options" button. Now load your cr2 into the same MM4 window. Click the "More Options" button, and select "Delete all morph targets from file".
@ HotDog36,
Quote - I use morph Morph Manager for that as well. The only problem I have with it is that the material zones from the orginal character file are still there. Is there a way to get rid of the material zones?
The material zones are not in the cr2, they are in the obj file. To get rid of the material zones you need to edit the obj file.
The material settings, on the other hand, are in the cr2. You can use a cr2 editor such as the free "CR2Builder" to delete the material settings from a cr2. Open the cr2 in CR2Builder. Scroll to the very bottom of the file. Expand the "figure" section. Scroll to the bottom of the figure section. You will see the materials. Click on the first material to select it, hold down the Shift key, and whilst still holding it down, click on the last material. Release the Shift key, and press the Delete key.
P.S. If you delete the material settings, Poser will add any materials in the obj file back into the cr2 the next you open the cr2, but it will use default settings and a random colour.

I wish to create clothing for a specific character but need to create a blank cr2 so there are no empty morph channels. How do I go about it? Is there a program that will do this?
Thanks in advance.
