I'm loving Poser 8 more each day. That said I can't seem to find the plus signs to save a pose. Am I missing something that is obvious?  SR1 installed.  Thanks.  Byron

And also don't see the + button to save materials:-(

You need to be in the material room to show the '+' button for saving material sets. 

Well I closed out the program and reopened to find the plus (+) sign.  Saving the pose is proving difficult, like the program is locked up.  Oh well the memory dot works.  Thanks.  Byron

I found that after opening Poser, the Pose + sign does not show up at the bottom of the palette until I have opened the library and clicked on one of the Pose folders. It might be that simple, or it might not....

Just select (click) the folder of the library in which you want to save your pose ( in the pose library of course) and the plus sign will appear.

 If you are talking save a body pose, get the python script savepose. You have to modify where it saves the pose and it does not create an icon. But if you just want partial poses, certain body parts, only translation dials and not morphs and various other options it's the cats pajamas. I use it all the time and then use thumber to create the png icon. Works on Macs and Windows. Think I got it from the python forum here. It don't care if you are even in the cloth-room when saving a pose :)

bopper is right. The GUI will not offer to save something until it knows what folder you want to save it into.

Remember, the old Poser always had a "current folder" - just one - whatever folder you're currently looking at, so it always offered the + sign.

In Poser 8, many folders are visible at the same time - it wants you to select a folder (or an item) so it knows where the saved thing should go.

And if the folder where you want to save something to, doesn't exist, you can add it in poser 8. My favorite part of the new library.

Yes..i have a folder i want to save in.. But no "+"

You're in the material room and the desired folder is selected (blue)? It's not just that you have a folder you want to save in, but that you clicked on that folder first.
