I am curious because there is this artist by the name of Trepz I used to follow and he hasn't uploaded anything in over a year (anyone know where he went).

Will this users gallery eventually be deleted ?

Should i collect them all now :D

They go bye bye when the user deletes them.

Also peeps change their screen name, Trepz changed his to something else after leaving for a while. He may still be here but under a different name with a new gallery.

Yes, Trpez changed name, and haven't seen anything from him in a while in the Vue gallery. He uses C4D now, so maybe you'll see him there, but I don't remember his new alias.

Thanks a lot all for the info, but does the gallery get deleted at some point if it is not in use ?

Not that I'm aware of, but I'll ask the question for you!

and sometimes people misbehave, get thrown out, come back with another name, misbehave, get thrown out again...

ok, i found out he was banned, but if he is banned why is the gallery still there ?

Not that I am complaining because it is some of the best on here :D

slonishko ( ) posted Wed, 07 October 2009 at 12:57 AM

hm,

ok no takers :D

thefixer ( ) posted Wed, 07 October 2009 at 1:41 AM

It's not policy to delete galleries even if someone is banned.
As long as the images in their gallery are within the TOS they can stay, the banned member just can't upload any new ones or access their account, post to forums etc.etc.
An individual can delete their own gallery entirely in one click if they wish to.
If a banned member wants his/her gallery removed then we will do it, and only then.
I hope that answers your question, if not please e-mail admin@renderosity.com
Thanks.

He was not permanently banned, but after his awful cussing fit that he through was banned for a short a period of time.
He still creates Atmos for sale at Cornucopia 3D and sometimes posts an image at a couple of other galleries that I refuse to mention because they are not Renderosity!!!

I would rather be Politically Incorrect,
Then have Politically Correct-Incorrectness!!!
