Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 29 7:57 am)
Hm. At first I wasn't sure what you were asking but I think I can see the problem.
I think - but mind you I've never really used the walk designer much - that one of the main things is to make sure the walk animation is in the base layer and not a separate one, which WalkDesigner seems to prefer. At least with the walk in a separate layer, I couldn't get hold of the figure after the walk cycke was done. At least with it in the base layer I could make new keyframes after the walk. Still seemed clunky, it kept moving back to the starting point no matter what I tried...
hmm.. there must be a trick to this. I hope one of the more experienced animators pops in here...

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.
I sometimes use the "transition from pose at end" option, but mostly, I just switch camera angles, "Memorize All" on the last frame then restore all at the first frame and start from there with a new scene. Also, as TrekkieGrrrl says, it's helpful to apply the walk to the Base Layer, not a new one. Adding layers adds a whole new level of problems! That is the most likely cause of them returning to start at the end of the walk cycle. I also use PoseMagic to pose them after the walk cycle. That way they still keep the end pose, but you jsut add on to it. **
