Subject: Some words for Marshmellow... and us all

I realize that this is kind of old school, but I often find these words going through my head. When the white eagle of the north is flying overhead The browns, reds, and golds of autumn lie in the gutter dead. Remember then, that summer birds with wings of fire flaming Came to witness springs new hope, born of leaves decaying. Just as new life will come from death, love will come at leisure. Love of love, love of life, and giving without measure Gives in return a wondrous yearn of a promise almost seen. Live hand-in-hand and together we'll stand on the threshold of a dream. 1969 The Moody Blues

The following is a song by a band caled Tool. This is the type of music that provides me not only with inspiration, but upon closer examination, a different perspective of looking at life, religion, and morality. Me and Alpha abviously have different tastes in music, and are obviously inspired by dirrent things, 20 years can do that, but the principle remains the same. There's a shadow just behind me, shrouding every breath I take, making every promise empty, pointing every finger at me. Waiting like a stalking butler who upon the finger rests. Murder now the path called must we Just before the son has come. Jesus, won't you fucking whistle something but the past and done? Why can't we not be sober? I just want to start this over. Why can't we drink forever. I just want to start things over. I am just a worthless liar. I am just an imbecile. I will only complicate you. Trust in me and fall as well. I will find a center in you. I will chew it up and leave, I will work to elevate you just enough to bring you down. Trust me. Mother Mary won't you whisper something but what's past and done. Trust me. I want what I want... I want... what I want... "Sober" by Tool, off the album Undertow. Someone once told me, "Don't knock on Death's door. Ring the doorbell, and run, he hates that." Another one also said, "I'm not afraid to die, I just don't wanna be there when it happens." Comical, yes, but still, little things like that make me think. Everyone is inspired by something. Everyone you walk past on the street, has lived a life, and are still in the process of living it. Every subtle thing we do, something as small as posting a message on the photography forum, can possibly have an affect on what may be something absolutely LARGE. For all we know, me having to re-read this post, very well might cause a chain reaction. I won't leave the house at the time I would have if I hadn't re-read a post, and because of that, maybe I don't get hit by a screaming ferrari in front of my apartment, because he passed by 5 minutes earlier. Like it or not, we all have made enormous differences in the world today, good and bad, responsible, or indirectly responsible, so we might as well just live. Every time a bird takes the time to drop his load on an unsuspecting shiny red car, someone gets shot, a baby is born, several species become extinct, and several new species are born. Think of all the events that will likely follow a bird shitting on a shiny red car, and just begin to ponder all the little things that happen and have slight impacts on that car's surroundings while it's on the way to the car wash... -ry

For myself, I think of my life like a stone thrown into the sea--the small rings/wavelets that go out from that thrown stone go out indefinitely and touch things we have no way of knowing about before hand. Then, there are those times your waves merge with my waves S.

I'm here and I've seen it. Thanks very much, people. I think I've got a writer's block for photographers, what would that be? A photographer's block? :-)
