Quote - I'm using the P6 Character Realism Kit, and trying to get it to work on Jessi.
I keep getting this error:I never seen this before.
I've upgraded to three different computers, and never seen this before.Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
This is due to the user you run Poser as not having sufficient permission to write files to the root directory.
The simplest thing to try is to use "Run as Administrator" when running Poser.
A better solution would be to modify the script (assuming it's supplied as a PY file rather than as a compiled PYC) to change the path used for writing temporary files.
I wonder if this could be because I haven't activated Windows yet?
I just put this computer together, and I wanted to get it all configured before I activated.
Dizzi, you say I can rename the file? I'm not sure what type of file that would be.
.
To install the character kit, you copy the contents of the runtime folder into the runtime folder
of P6.
What folder would that file be in? And what type of file would it be?
The error message you have above, "Click to Continue": after I had a virus and I tried to load old PZ3s, I would get that error (or textures/models/materials with improper directories... ). New ones don't do it. Sometimes, clicking it 20 times or more will make it go away. If not, you must use Task Manager to shut down Poser...

Six months ago, I had P6 set up on a dual core. Everything worked fine, until I started working with hair.
I just figured there was a lot of vertices and the processor couldn't handle it.
So I put it down till I could upgrade to a quad core.
Yesterday, I started configuring a quad core for poser. I keep getting this error:
