"...Bryce is dead..." Well with a dead programme i made this animation - see link, just under 2 days from scratch, basic Bryce 5.5 out of the box. (A couple of my own textures) all modelling, animation and render in Bryce. hope you enjoy. thanks for looking.

That was pretty damn good. I did notice a problem with the shadow when the flower container dropped out of the cube. But I'm well impressed.

Well that certainly states your, and our case, nicely...love the cloud of monarchs at the end but the whole thing is stellar...great stuff man.. ...

Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound
The Sun comes up again

Very nice, Richard!  I especially liked the little box-man.  There is an undercurrent of intrigue and possible danger there too.  Perhaps the metal box-man might zap the butterfly.. or he might explode with frustration!  Very clever, and very well done.  Once again proof that Bryce is far from dead.  Thanks for sharing.

I am glad you used butterflies and not cockroaches.  You did a great job.  I loved it.
