Quote - I think it is not possible in Complete. I may be wrong, but many Complete users report not having this button.
That is strange  I checked the Comparative Chart between Complete -> Infinite at e-on. There should not be much difference between in lighting.

Thanks that's it.
I just loaded the latest build and the spectral cloud influence button is there now. Not sure if it was in earlier build or not.
I was using another button.
Someone had told me to use the cloud icon.
I had chose the box (cube)with the shadow under it in the left vertical menu that's near the horizontal menu with that spectral cloud setting in it. I thought that shadow represented a cloud. The fact that that led to an editor which allows me to check a lighting influence box for the layered cumulus clouds that were chosen as meta clouds only went to further my belief that that was the correct icon to influence spectral clouds.
But now I know he meant, thanks for the screen shot. Works fine now.
Much thanks

Hi -
I use Complete 7.4 (build 43145) and I don't have the option of lighting clouds with individual lights (no buttons like the ones in "mazak's" screenshot). But according to e-on this should be an option (at least according to the comparative charts).
Am I the only one with this discrepancy?
I have the latest build of Complete and I DO have that button.

Hi
Can some who has Vue 7.4 Complete try to light a meta cloud using a spot or point light
and a gel?
Seems to work in Vue 7.4 Infinite but not in 7.4 Complete.
I tried a spot light and a point light set at 1000 with a rainbow gel enabled. Nether light
will light a meta cloud.
Odd because I can select the meta cloud object to be influenced by the light.
But nether light or gel does not show up on it.
Then I put a regular sphere in the scene by the meta clouds just to be sure the light
gel is working. The sphere has rainbow on it big time.
I think that the Meta clouds should work or I would not have the option to select them
for the point light gel to influence.
I might be doing something wrong or maybe a bug in Complete 7.4 version.
Thanks for the help.
